BathSPARK Message Board › Announcing winner of iPad mini, Xmas BathSPARK and more networking events
|David Maher R.||
Autumn is proving to be a busy time for the BathSPARK team; with iPad mini competitions, organising the Xmas BathSPARK, planning the 2013 edition of The SPARKies and launching a new and more sector-focused networking breakfast event.
- The iPad Mini Competition winner!
To celebrate reaching the milestone of 500 members, we teamed up with Coworking Bath to give away an iPad Mini to one of our first 500 members. We used Random.Org to select the lucky winner... so we are delighted to announce that Adam Davis is the lucky man! Get in touch with us asap so we can get your delivery details.
- Xmas BathSPARK - date is set
BathSPARK's Christmas event will be on Tuesday 4th December at Circo. This is a bigger venue than usual, so we will be able to release a greater number of tickets. We will be releasing the first tickets in a few days' time, so stay tuned. Also, if you are interested sponsoring all or part of this event, please get in touch.
- SPARKies 2013 - calling for volunteers
After this year's amazing sell-out event and celebration of the best tech people, products and companies that Bath has to offer, we have started planning for 2013. The event will take place in March and right now we are looking for people to join the organising team - please get in touch if you fancy being part of this incredible event.
- BathSPARK launches its new 'Techie Brekkie'
Last, but not least, we are really excited to be announcing the launch of BathSPARK's 'Techie Brekkies'. This is a monthly 'themed' breakfast event for up to 25 people at Jika Jika's. The aim is to enable BathSPARK members to benefit from some sector-specific networking with smaller groups of people. Each month the theme will be different (e.g. mobile games, Big Data, SaaS, eCommerce, etc) and the breakfast will be split into two parts: (i) we will go around the table and ask each participant to give a 1-minute intro about themselves/business/product, and (ii) an open networking session to enable people to connect with the people they most want to meet following the intros.
The breakfasts will run from 8:15-9:30am in the back room at Jika Jika and will include lovely coffee, tea and pastries. Tickets: £8 per person.
We are looking to hold the first Techie Brekkie in November, so please let us know which sector you would like to kick off with, the one with the most interest will be the one we start with.
And that's it for this update. We hope to see you at the Xmas BathSPARK, the first Techie Brekkie or in the new year at the SPARKies.
