Sonoma County Scenic 32 Mile Ride

This will be 30-32 miles of some amazing scenery!

The Plan:

We'll head out the Santa Rosa Creek Trail and go to a winery o/s of Sebastopol for a free tasting, where we'll have lunch in a beautiful courtyard w/ a fountain that is surrounded by vineyards.  Later we'll ride through Graton and continue out Graton Rd for some beautiful scenery.  As usual this ride will take us through some outrageous Sonoma County scenery!

Later we'll take some lesser known county roads that have some breathtaking scenery, as we work our way back and drop into Sebastopol, and finally head back to Santa Rosa.  If you've enjoyed any of the other rides I've led, I guarantee you'll flip over this one.

This ride is flat for the most part, but has some rolling hills that are moderate to strenuous.  As always we wait for those who need more time on the hills.  The countryside on this ride make the hills well worth it.

I rode this one today and enjoyed it so much I knew I had to take the grp out to experience it.

What To Bring:

Snacks, water, and a lunch.

Wear: Sunscreen, layered clothing, your helmet.

I pack a few fruit bars and a sandwich for lunch.

$5 activity fee

Preparation:

Fill your tires the day/eve before.
Have your bike tuned and in good shape.

A repair kit (optional, though always suggested - at least a spare tube is highly recommended). I'll have a pump.

Directions:

Meet at the Vineyard Inn Hyatt Hotel parking lot o/s the restaurant - Downtown Santa Rosa.

GPS: [masked],[masked]

As always, your sense of humour is required!

This ride is posted on 4 other Meetup sites, and attendance will be limited to 15 riders.

That's Mt Saint Helena in the distance.

Sunsets in Sonoma County are pretty nice.
