PLEASE NOTE: Either meet at the Tiburon Ferry at 9:45 or at the picnic area on the island, to the right of the dock and past the open field w/ the museum.
Since this is the Sept edition we'll hike around the island - 5 miles and pretty flat, though for the sake of some I will say the rating is contingent upon your condition. ;-)
The hike is optional so if you want to come chill while we hike and then eat, drink, and be merry w/ the rest of us after the hike - do it!
What to bring:
Vino and snacks for the hike.
A cooler w/ ice and plenty of food
Beach chairs (optional but handy)
Food to BBQ (charcoal is BBQ'ing or gas stove/sterno), and or sandwiches, salads, deserts, the works! As always I'm hoping for plenty of ethnic food. Not just boring hamburgers and hot dogs! We're talking variety here, and lots of spicy food!
Plenty of Vino - we had some really nice bottles last time
Beer, water, soda, whatever you want to whet your whistle
Chips, dips, snacks, and plenty to share
Whoever brought the paella last time, pls bring it again - I loved it!
Sunscreen & hat
Layered clothing, since you never know what you'll get out there. Last yr there was plenty of heat
Hiking boots are not necessary, just decent hiking shoes - even tennies will do for this one
Your sense of humour and desire for fun is an absolute must!
