"Theatrical Extravaganza" in Oakland: Duck Duck Octopus

DDO is a madcap fire drill with a shot of theatre, an infusion of song & dance, a dollop of comedy, a spoonful of audience participation, and a sprinkling of performance art. We dash to perform all 30 of these acts, as ordered, in just 60 minutes -- if we succeed, everyone gets a prize -- so its a bit of a game show, too!

At this weekly extravaganza, you receive a menu of 30 short acts from which you "order" the show!  From 1-6 new acts are inserted into the menu each week, so if you return again and again you'll be seeing a very different show each time! Oh, endless entertainment delight!

Created & Directed by Gabriel Grilli

Playing Fridays at 9pm starting March 8th.

The show runs one lickety-split hour without intermission.

Thanks to Lindsey for  "shamelessly plugging her own company's show right now.  She just saw the preview night and is SO EXCITED - the show has really become something special."

Hi! Anyone else coming from Walnut Creek? Interested in carpooling or walking together from BART?

FYI - everyone should get their own ticket. Thanks to Lindsey for the heads up to not wait till the last minute to get one.

Are we buying tickets separately? Just checking'. Sounds fun :-)

I suggest buying tickets early, whether separately or not - the show has been selling out/close to selling out every night!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
