Absurdist Comedy The Arsonists at the Aurora Theatre

Aurora Theatre Company presents The Arsonists, written by popular British comedy writer Alistair Beaton and directed by Mark Jackson. This elegant and witty translation of Max Frisch's 1958 absurdist comedy The Firebugs is part moral fable, part black farce.

Mild-mannered Mr. Biederman, a respected member of the community, tries to live a blameless life, refusing to acknowledge evil of any kind. The facade comes crashing down around him, though, when he allows two smooth-talking arsonists to move in. Inspired by the Communist takeover of Czechoslovakia in 1948, this absurdist parable satirizes the way in which people can be manipulated into accommodating their own destruction.

Note this is a meetup for people who will come to both the play and dinner and/or dessert after, so at first you will go to the waitlist.  Once you have purchased a ticket, send me an email (click on my photo and follow the link to email) to let me know that you have one.  Also let me know if you would like to come to dinner, dessert afterwards, or both.  Dinner will be at Slow on University at 6:00  (note I will not be making reservations) and dessert will be at Five.

Everyone should get their own ticket:

A few Goldstar tickets are still available:

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
