SF Symphony - Nielsen 5th and Beethoven Violin Concerto

I'm very glad the symphony players ended the strike so I can hear the Nielsen 5th Symphony, one of my favorite pieces. This has the famous snare drum improvisation leading to the huge climax in the first movement.

I bought my ticket already, I'm in 2nd tier section FF row F.

Concert starts at 8:00 pm. I'll be attending the pre-concert lecture at 7:00 pm. If you're attending the lecture, let's meet near the store at 6:50 pm. For those coming straight to the concert, I'll try to be at the symphony store at 7:45 pm, depending on how long the lecture goes. I'll also be at the store at intermission. Look for my Meetup nametag.

Dinner beforehand at 5:45 pm at Arlequin cafe at 384A Hayes St. Please note in your RSVP if you will be joining me for dinner.
