This is the second in a series of free summer concerts (although donations are recommended) held every Sunday until Aug 18th at the beautiful Stern Grove on 19th and Sloat in SF.
Opening the show is up-and-coming electronic soul group Quadron, whose modern sound is winning fans worldwide.
Pianist Ramsey Lewis joins celebrated jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater for an afternoon of classic R&B and soul hits.
Their music can be heard at myspace.

People should try to get there by 11AM and certainly no later than 1230 pm else entry into the good viewing areas is barred. At that point, only the hills will be accessible.
People should bring plenty of wine/beer/water, a cup or two, a plate and food to share as it is a picnic. And a blanket/beach towel/beach chair to sit on.
Wear layered clothing, a hat, and sunblock. Oh yes, don't forget your dancing shoes.
It would be great if a couple of volunteers who live nearby could stake out a spot with blankets/tarps early in the morning - 8am - preferably at a spot with a clear view of the stage but also under the trees - which is to say, the terraces behind the sound engineers tent. Please email me if you can help out.
Carpool where possible as parking is limited.
Use Google maps and enter Stern Grove or Ocean and 23rd st, SF.
From the East Bay, take the 80 to the Bay Bridge, then 101S, then 280 towards Daly City and exit Ocean Blvd. Stay on Ocean. Do not turn right on 19th as it takes a long time to make the LH turn on Sloat. Instead stay on Ocean all the way until you get to 23rd or 26th, then turn right and left on Sloat, then right on one of the side streets. Please look at the map of the area around Stern Grove to help you visualize the above.
There's limited parking nearby on Crestlake, north of Sloat ave but people need to come early. There's also limited parking on Wawona St but its a bit of a walk. Else there's ample parking on the side streets between Sloat and Ocean.
