FREE "sneak peek" Golden Gate Bridge Tour, GROUP 3

***A THIRD tour since groups 1 and 2 filled up so fast!***

Get a special FREE "sneak preview" of the Golden Gate Bridge Tours offered by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. These tours received an average 4.5-star rating on Yelp last year!

Tours start for the public (at $12.95/ticket) on April 1st, but because I run the program, I can offer special friends and groups FREE tickets to our "dress rehearsal" tours right before.

These are 45-minute personally guided walking tours that go from the Bridge Plaza (SE side of bridge) to the South Tower. These are NOT boring statistics-and-engineering tours. Rather, you hear stories of passion, danger, and ingenuity... boldness, beauty, and bravery... and much more.

If you've driven over the bridge a million times but don't know its amazing story -- including why it is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, why it is International Orange, or about the incredible dangers that workers faced in building it -- join us for this free tour.

Tour will begin PROMPTLY at the time listed. It ends at the South Tower 45 minutes later, so it's about an hour round-trip back to the Round House. PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE ROUND HOUSE AT LEAST 20 MINUTES EARLY to pick up your audio equipment.  You will be greeted by me.

Parking can be very challenging! I recommend the lots on the west side of the bridge plaza or the East Battery lot on Lincoln Avenue to the east of the bridge plaza.

(Please be aware that this is NOT a behind-the-scenes tour. The tour is conducted all in public areas. You know, that pesky Homeland Security issue...)

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ON A FRIDAY.****

What's the best way to get there via public transportation ? The 76 Bus from downtown SF? I'm coming from Berkeley, anyone want to car pool?

511.org can help you w trip planning. GG Transit buses are a bit more expensive than MUNI but MUCH more dependable, faster, and more comfortable.

Hi Katy: Are there bike racks somewhere near the Round House where I can lock up my bicycle?

    • Katy

Yes. There are several next to south door of Round House (the side closest to the Toll Booths).
