This event is organized by Solo Sierrans and Hikanbyke group. Participants are mostly mature/senior active people, but any age group will enjoy.
Morro Bay State Park Car Camp.
Four nights and five days, about 5 hours from the Bay Area, just off Highway 1 near San Luis Obispo. We have a large group site with restrooms, showers and fire pits. There are hiking trails, biking and nature walks, Museum of Natural History, a colorful marina and an 18 hole golf course. The prominent landmark is Morro Rock, a short drive or bike ride from the camp. There are lot of birds and marine mammals. The coastal weather could be very nice or not ( overcast and fog ) in September. We’ll have happy hours and evening campfires. Solos and couples welcome. Central Commissary except for lunches and happy hours. Our meal coordinator helps you plan one meal with others.
$50/person plus up to $40 for food plus parking if over limit for number of spaces.
Carpooling encouraged. Reserve early. Add $10 if less than 1 month before trip.
Cancellation: Two week cancellation notice in order to receive refund.
