Kids social in TriValley area?

Was wondering if there’s any group with children that meet regularly in tri-valley area on weekends (especially Sunday morning). Kids were pulled to the church by their mom claiming that they can meet more friends there. Being new to here, I haven’t been able to find any non-believer families (with 7~12 yrld) that meet regularly doing something fun for kids.

Hello, Shang.
I don't know of any Sunday Assembly type groups in the Tri-Valley. The closest to something like that might be the UU church in Livermore ( ). From reading their newsletter awhile ago, it seems there are atheist and agnostic families that attend. If that doesn't appeal to you, perhaps you might consider starting a group?

Not exactly close to Pleasanton, but you might want to consider driving to Palo Alto for the Family Program at the Humanist Community of Silicon Valley, http://www.humanists..... Our kids these days range from 5-13 and we'd love to have you join us!

And if you have any Jewish culture in your background, you might consider http://trivalleycultu... -- secular humanists of Jewish culture (but not religion) who meet in Livermore.

Finally, there's East Bay Activists in Berkeley (http://www.eastbayath...) but you would have to contact them to find out about kids activities.

The HCSV in Palo Alto seems to have very good programs for kids. Maybe we'll give it a try when in the summer. Just with they had something similar in Tri-Valley.
