Aaah nothing like the smell of gasoline in the mornin

I searched for automotive groups in the Bay Area and was surprised that I didn't find any. One thing I've been missing since I moved to the Bay Area is parking lot car shows, just a bunch of people who share an interest in cars/vehicles of all kinds hanging out, talking shop, and showing off their hard work. Personally I like pretty much any kind of vehicle: car, truck, new, old, import, domestic, carbed, fuel injected, bike, off road, electric, whatever I just love the mechanics of them all. If you just love cars too and want to hang out sometime and maybe go for a cruise and grab something to eat you should join up. This isn't going to be a place to set up street races or prove how big of a burnout you can do, if you really want to prove what your ride can do we could organize some track days; drag, autocross, whatever. I don't want this to turn into a battle of the brands or import vs domestic, it's just going to be a place where fellow gearheads can hang out regardless of what they drive. I've been trying to look around and find places that would make good meeting/hang out spots so if you know of any let me know. This is pretty much a work in progress, just like most of my projects these days, so it may be awhile before anything gets setup. Shoot me an email if you have any questions or suggestions.
