What is your bealges name and how did you pick it?
Barkley, his foster parents picked his name from the movie "You've Got Mail" but I think the dogs name was Bentley. But when he barks his name sure fits!
Why a beagle???
My son wanted a beagle after seeing a movie with Harrison Ford and a beagle puppy. We bought 2 siblings from a breeder in Colusa, CA 18 years ago. One of them lived until May of this year, 2011. I adopted Milton from Norcalbeaglerescue in Nov. 07, before that I took in a beagle, Noah, from family, and Lucy the bassett from my mother's caregiver. For a few years we had four dogs. I've had Barkley since Dec 30,2010 and he is super with our 7 grandchildren under the age of 7.
