Are you a Classic Movie/Noel Coward buff? Alfred Hitchcock directed 9 (mostly) silent films in the UK [masked]) before coming to Hollywood. These early works are touring the US and are testament to the developing Hitchcock style that would become legend. The plots deal with 'pre-code' topics, somewhat provocative, adult themed story lines, and highly entertaining. This is a great chance to see what early film was all about before the Production Code stepped in and sugar coated much of what the public eventually saw on the silver screen (post 1934).
Alfred Hitchcock (U.K., 1927). Digital Restoration! Judith Rosenberg on piano. An adaptation of the Noël Coward play, a drama about an uptight British society family. With one of the first cameos by the director. (82 mins)
