Our in-home concert with Yoni Levyatov has been SOLD OUT so I cannot, unfortunately, accept anymore RSVPs at this time (Tamara's is the last RSVP I can accept for now). If still interested in attending, I can, however, put you on a waiting list and if someone cancels, you can have their spot. If anyone who already RSVP'd with a "yes" can't make it, please let me know as soon as you can so someone else can have your place. Thanks! - Scott
For the second in our series of in-home concerts for 2013, we are so very fortunate to have Russian-born, Israeli pianist and Gold Medal winner of our 2011 Piano Competition, the incomparable Yoni Levyatov (http://youtu.be/OFq-pkHdFTI).
Yoni comes from a musical family, with his mother also a pianist and his father a choral director. Yoni graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2005 and in 2006 and made his Lincoln Center recital debut at Alice Tully Hall.
His many concert appearances worldwide have included performances at Steinway Hall and the United Nations in New York City; Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg, Russia and the Jerusalem Music Center in Israel.
Among his numerous prizes and awards, Mr. Levyatov won the Silver Medal at the 2008 International Bosendorfer Piano Competition and in 2011, the Gold Medal at the International Russian Music Piano Competition, in San Jose, California.
