Classical Revolution Orchestra w/ Third Eye Blind, Musical Art Quintet, & more!!

Hi friends,

This is a great opportunity to meet up for an amazing concert event.

This concert features the debut of the Classical Revolution Orchestra serving as the "backing band" for short sets from some of our favorite musicians and ensembles.

The show will open with Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco, who will perform their toe-tapping arrangements of Latin favorites and Beatles / rock tunes with an augmented string orhestra.

Following them will be "string-metal" band Judgement Day, who have built an impressive local and national following for their patented style of electric string rock music. They will be joined by an expanded string section performing their original tunes.

Then we will bring on the Musical Art Quintet, Classical Rev's ensemble-in-residence, who will perform Sascha Jacobsen's original compositions and arrangements, with a full orchestra!

Following the MAQ will be Seattle-based electric bassist and composer Jherek Bischoff, who is currently being commissioned by the Seattle Symphony and Lincoln Center for his neo-classical rock compositions. Jherek's new CD "Composed" features full orchestration with an amazing array of guest vocalists including David Byrne and Caetano Veloso. Jherek is also a member of Amanda Palmer's Grand Theft Orchestra and is making a special effort to be with us following Amanda's show the night before at the Fillmore.

The headlining set is by famed SF based rock group Third Eye Blind, who will perform their songs with our orchestra in celebration of lead singer's Stephan Jenkins birthday. 3EB has been touring constantly while recording a new album so we are thrilled that they are taking the time to be a part of the show with us!

The night will close with some local San Francisco rock and roll from the trio that make up Family Folk Explosion: Mark Matos, Annie Girl & The Flight, and Wildhawk. The FFE have been thrilling local audiences with their authentic, raw, soulful sounds and high energy performances.

All in all, this will be a memorable night and we invite you to be a part of it!

Proceeds from the evening go to Classical Revolution's efforts to bring music out to more people and more places. This year we are launching a new project to work directly with schools and youth-oriented music organizations to bring our musicians to perform for the young people in our communities. We believe that youth should have exposure to live classical music, and Classical Revolution is dedicating ourselves to bring it to them.

We ask you to purchase your tickets in advance, and we've set up discount tickets at

Thank you for supporting live music in San Francisco!
