Whether or not it's true, the quote brings up a valid point - golf and business go hand in hand. This is a group for those that want to further their career and expand their network through a round of golf. There's just something about sharing the frustrations of hitting a tiny white ball into a cup that builds a sense of camaraderie among us and our fellow duffers. That bond can be even better if we play with others who share a passion for meeting new people and new business opportunities. People from all walks are welcome, but there are a few guidelines that if we agree to follow should make our experience better:
1) Come prepared to talk about business or personal ambitions, but don't feel pressured to make it all business. We're still here to have fun.
2) See what you can do to help your golfing partners succeed with what they're trying to accomplish.
3) No 4-hour sales pitches - Salespeople are certainly welcome (I am one, so I hope so!) but don't make it all about you
4) No Jerks.
The idea is to get a monthly event going with a different format each time, and likely a happy hour afterwards. Also feel free to connect with other members for one-off rounds.While we are all professionals, we are by no means professional golfers, soall skill levels are welcome.
