How would you describe yourself? love to cook gourmet dishes (labeled as "Chef"), or cooks well enough (labeled as "Cook"), or just wish you knew how (labeled as "Enthusiast")

Cook - I love cooking, but I still have a lot to learn.

How do you know what an authentic dish should taste like, and from what geographical location(s) have you lived?

I think authentic dishes are full of flavor without relying on things like tons of salt to make you think it tastes good. And they're usually spicier than the non-authentic version! I'm California born and raised!

How long have you resided in the San Francisco Bay Area, and for what purpose?

I grew up in Napa, went to college in Santa Cruz and am now back in Napa until graduate school.

So that the Organizer doesn't have to expunge Members from this group, are you friendly, forgiving, not a gossip or a whiner? Also, are you willing to learn from and share with all kinds of people? (We love diversity in our food and friends!))

Yes! I love learning from others, the more different the better.

Anything where I get to cook with other people and learn/taste something new or practice a skill.


I'm a recent UCSC grad, I love cooking with other people and am always looking to learn some new tips and tricks.
