This one-hour, docent-led walking tour is a great introduction to the Love Apple way of life, a farm known as the main grower for Manresa Restaurant in Los Gatos. But in addition to their claim to fame as Manresa's grower, this Santa Cruz Mountains farm makes a living both growing and teaching - they sell seeds, worm castings from their own worm farm, and all kinds of gardening and growing supplies, but they also offer some great classes and weekend seminars on everything from how to make the perfect pie crust (taught by chef-blogger Pim), to "How-to" type classes on raising chickens in your backyard, or installing a rain water irrigation system.
