Health and Social Justice Doc Screenings at SFSU

The films at this screening are the culminating projects from the students enrolled in the Documentary for Health and Social Justice class at San Francisco State University. Please come see and support their work!

The films:

$hift - Aims to mobilize people to join the fossil fuel divestment movement sweeping the nation and is a practical solution for creating the systemic change that is necessary to sustain a livable planet

New School - Investigates alternative pedagogical methods for student, teacher, and school performance.

The Net - Shares the stories and advocacy efforts of parents that have lost a child to suicide from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Identify - Lifts up and celebrates the lives of transgender men and women.

(Of course I have a final scheduled during same time as the screening!!! But I am spreading the word and will be there in spirit)

That is great to hear! I was so disappointed that my final conflicted with the screening.

Oops! I thought I included a link of the campus map. This will make finding the theater easier http://www.sfsu.edu/~sfsumap/southeast.htm The theater is in section H6 of the map.
