Hello Fellow Bay Area Film Society Members,

I wanted to get in touch about an encore free screening of the documentary "The New Black" next Wed June 4 at 6pm at the African American Art & Culture Complex. RVSP at: https://newblack-sf.eventbrite.com.

The film examines LGBT rights issues within African American communities, specifically when Question 6 (same-sex marriage) was on the ballot in Maryland. Free snacks and an engaging post-screening community conversation will follow, see below for the full invite information. Please feel free to invite your friends! I'm one of the event organizers, so if you are able to make it I'd love for you to say hi and introduce yourself to me.

I hope to see some of you there!

Kind Regards,
Daniel
