DYEING WITH FRUITS, VEGGIES, AND SPICES

MEET AT QUARRY PICNIC AREA ON WILDCAT CANYON RD, NORTH OF LAKE ANZA!

Learn how to spruce up and give life to faded or bland clothes by repurposing vegetable parts or spices you already have in the kitchen. We'll boil up a cauldron of nearly every color of the rainbow, snack on boiled veggies, and chat about and experiment with a variety of dyeing methods and patterns using natural objects found outside. In the do-it-yourself spirit, you'll learn how to add flavor to your style. If you're curious how something will dye, bring it along as well!

$5 if you bring your own unbleached, non-bleeding cloth to dye

$10 if you want to buy fresh silk, wool, or linen at the demonstration to dye

Sorry to be so late to the conversation... and it looks like I'll miss out on today, which is really disappointing :( Don't have a way to get up to Tilden in a jiffy, next time I'll try to coordinate with someone. Have been interested in creating natural dyes for quite a while, so if this happens again, I'll definitely make it happen!

Hi guys! The delay in announcing the location is I'm not certain of the best park. Do ya'll have a preference of location or know of a good park with many grill pits? (I want to be able to build small fires for the dye pots). It's an experiment so bring your curiosity!

Don't worry if you can't make this meetup, hopefully, if it's well received, we'll have more in the future.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
