Location: North America
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for attaining sales quota and growth in a specific geography within North America. He or she will report to the Director of Sales. The RSM will be expected to contribute multifaceted experience to our growing company its culture.
Experience Necessary:
• At least seven (5) years software sales experience with a majority of time spent in hospitals
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Documented track record of sales success (President’s Club, etc) in hospital or software
• Consistent ranking in top quartile among sales peers
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
• Consultative Sale Skills
Added Experience Desired:
• Knowledge of infectious diseases, or infection prevention, or antibiotics
• Prior large territory management
• Telephone prospecting
• Management of extended sales cycle
• Web-based demonstration (e.g. WebEx)
• Some of career spent with a small-cap company
• Ability to travel
• CRM software utilization
• Pricing Negotiation
General Responsibilities:
• Meeting sales quota
• National and regional conference coverage as requested by the Director of Sales
• Various sales reports
• Management of sales cycle simultaneously for multiple prospects
• Close communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Negotiation for mutually beneficial software solutions
• Continuous product knowledge development and competitive intelligence
