In-Home Classical Piano Recital

  • Oct 20, 2013 · 8:00 PM

Benefit concert with William Welborn, long-time San Francisco Conservatory professor and dear friend of the International Russian Music Piano Competition. The founding president of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the American Liszt Society, Prof. Welborn also serves as the Vice President for the San Francisco Council of the Chopin Foundation and concertizes internationally.

For us, he will be performing Scarlatti Sonatas, Weber's Invitation to Dance, Debussy's Images Book I and Liszt's famous Mephisto Waltz.

Dan and Irina Morgan will be hosting the concert in their home in Almaden Valley, San Jose on Sunday, October 20th. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served from 7-8pm, and Prof. Welborn will perform from 8-9pm. General admission tickets are $25 and student admission tickets are $20. Fantastic Steinway B piano played by several Van Cliburn winners.
