Hi Dexter, Thanks for the follow up message, sorry I couldn't make the October 11 meeting however, I am interested to hear more about the work you do in the Philippines. AS you may know, my non-profit applies RET as a way to alleviate poverty.
After 38 years living in California I visited the Philippines where I grew up and saw poverty is still prevalent throughout. 2008 I founded REEF as a 501(c)3 public charity organization using renewable energy technologies to alleviate poverty. I returned March 2012 handing out solar powered lanterns and efficient wood fired cook stoves. These items help reduce family expenditures by 60%, remove sources of indoor air pollution, reduce forest deforestation, increase the chances of children finishing secondary education. Visit our website to learn about our 3 poverty alleviating programs. Ralph Chesley
Fascinating concept for a non-profit. Love the DGL idea. Means a lot to new founded non-profits or exiting ones in need of funding. Would love to collaborate in the near future.
Hi Ralph, I am interested to know how we can distribute this lantern for free to Cebu Philippines via my charity AJD Angels of Hope and Can+Hear Marco Emmanuel Charity.
Thanks for the greet Ralph.. looking forward to attending upcoming events
Hi Ralph... sorry but I just found your email regarding your group. I'm glad you asked me to be a member back in October. For some reason, my meet up account wasn't working properly. In any case, thanks for asking me to be a member... Salamat, Jocee
