A warm environment for making friends and connections in the Bay Area Jewish singles community - beyond YAD and the local synagogue scene.
The Havurah is for Jewish singles of about 35-54 - those of us who are a bit beyond YAD and want to be part of a Jewish community. We're an active, fun group of people looking to meet other great Jewish singles and enjoy events together.
We have a once-a-month Shabbat potluck wine, appetizer, and dessert at the Peninsula homes of our members as a way to bring our community together. From there we expand to other activities - hiking, checking out the latest Peninsula nightspots, going to Jewish cultural events - whatever you want to do!

We will be doing something different for the month of November. Instead of a Shabbaton Potluck. We will be having a Havdalah Potluck!
I am still looking for a venue for this event. So, if anyone would like to volunteer their home, please let me know :)
