A flat ride along the Bay Trail starting at the Emeryville Marina and riding along the Bay Trail to the Rosie the Riveter National Monument in Richmond. We will most likely have lunch and spend an hour or two at the NP then retrace our path back with an option of switching to the other side of the freeway on the way back. Most of the lunch spots are kind of pricey in the area so expect $10-$15.
This is a group for all types of cyclists to connect with other riders so nobody has to ride alone (unless you want to). We value cycling as a community more than the competetive aspects quite often associated with our passion but that doesn't limit friendly challenges from occuring before regrouping.
Besides the standard group type rides, we support rides that fall outside the normal offerings with an emphasis on exploration and variety. Do you like to mix road and dirt into the same ride? Have you always wanted to try your favorite club ride at night but could never get anybody to go along? How about an overnight someplace cool (or not so cool)? A family oriented ride around Angel Island? This is the place to solicit riders.
Hopefully a community will develop that we can all tap into to help us achieve cycling nirvana, have fun and possibly make new friends.
