"They Keep Changing Everything!" ~ Leadership in Uncertain Environments

Command and control management approaches brought us the industrial capacity we have today and tremendous wealth is a great result. However, the business world is discovering how limiting this style of management can be.

Even in manufacturing, market demand changes quickly, product life cycles are shorter, and better ideas continue to emerge. Perhaps what we learned last century about efficiency is not what makes sense today?

This month we'll look at two approaches for managing work - a more traditional model we are all familiar with, and a more modern model designed to address constant change, pioneered in the manufacturing and software development industries.

The activity will start right after 6pm, and we should finish at 8pm - two hour event. Be prepared to engage with others.

Sounds like a great program; however, I can't join you because I'm out of town. Hope both models use peer-to-peer practices. Looking forward to hearing what you discuss.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
