Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
This is an information packed 7 hour workshop where you will be able to photograph in many locations in the Reserve. Each attending photographer will get a lot of personal help with creating their images.
About Your Instructor: Master photographer and photographic craftsman Seraphina holds a Master of Arts degree in photography from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California.
She is an internationally acclaimed photographer, portrait artist and educator who has taught photography world wide. Her classical and romantic style has won her the hearts of photographers around the world. She was awarded "Photographer of the Year" for 9 consecutive years by the Professional Photographers of the Monterey Bay Area.
She has studied with Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham and Bret Weston.
Since opening her studio in Santa Cruz, she has been rewarded with honors and awards from both her local and national photographic associations.
Her best know work "Guardian of the Spheres" has been accepted into the permanent collection at the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.
Numerous images of hers have been included in the Professional Photographers of America's ASP traveling loan collection, the PPA loan collection at Disney World's Epcot Center and the Photokina Photography Show of Shows in Cologne, Germany. She as also been honored with three Fuji Masterpiece Awards.

About Point Lobos State Nature Reserve: Point Lobos is one of the crown jewels of the California State Park System featuring spectacular views of the coast, sandy coves and beaches, tide pools, Monterey Cypress groves and a wide variety of wildlife. It is the location where Ansel Adams and Edward Weston created many of their masterpieces photographs of the Big Sur coast.
Seraphina will teach you how to capture the natural beauty found all around the reserve. You will learn how to find the light and work to create dynamic compositions.
Limited to 13 Photographers.
(Please note that an expensive photo permit is required to conduct this workshop which adds to the cost but it means that our workshop meets all the legal requirements for doing a workshop in the park).
