Bay Area Photography Events and the Apple Store - San Francisco Present:
Award Winning Photographer and Author Morton Beebe
As a photographer and author, Morton Beebe has explored the world. His distinctive, beautiful work has been exhibited in numerous collections and published in a variety of magazines including National Geographic, Geo, Life, Smithsonian and Travel and Leisure.
He has covered the world, combining advertising assignments for his corporate clients — including Minolta, Nikon, Bank of America, Chevron, and American Airlines — with editorial assignments for Travel & Leisure , Geo , Ski and National Geographic , among others.
While in Antarctica, Morton was able to explore the continent and eventually reached the South Pole. He produced several photo essays covering historic events in Antarctica, which were published in National Geographic, Life, Paris Match and Stern. Shortly thereafter, he joined Magnum and started traveling and photographing stories full-time.
Morton's latest book is " The Golden Gate: San Francisco's Celebrated Bridge" - issued in conjunction with the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the bridge.

Time: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a question and answer period following from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Location: Apple Store - San Francisco, 1 Stockton Street at the corner of Market. We will be in the Theater on the Second Floor of the store.
Please note: If you are planning to attend, we ask you to enter a Yes RSVP, however, the RSVP total here does not reflect the number who will be attend because this event has been promoted on the Apple website and those people are not members of Meetup.
Parking: There are Tow Away Zones on many of the streets around the Apple store. Some of them end at 6:00 pm so there is usually a lot of parking places available at that time. Other streets have tow away zones that end at 7:00 pm so be careful. The parking meters do not run after 6:00 pm so you do not have to put any money in them after 6:00 pm.
The Apple store is also very convenient to public transportation - the Powell Street BART station right next to the Apple store.
