STAR TREK CONVENTION IN SAN FRANCISCO ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18

OFFICIAL STAR TREK CONVENTION

I just found out about this event that is going on this weekend and I am planning to go to it.  It is being held on Saturday and Sunday but I am going to attend on Sunday and, if you are a Star Trek fan, you might want to join me.

This is a free Meetup event but there is a charge to attend and plenty of things to buy if you want.  There is a costume contest so you are certain to find a lot of photo opps and have a lot of fun.

Here is a link to the website for the event:

Date: Sunday, November 18

Time: I am planning to arrive at 10 am to be sure to get a ticket.  I believe the official opening is 10:20 am but the website is not clear about that.

Location:  Westin St. Francis Hotel, in the Grand Ballroom on the Mezzanine Level, 335 Powell Street on Union Square, San Francisco.

On Sunday, the parking meters do not run so you do not have to feed - they already get plenty to eat.  Hourly parking is also not enforced but before you park, be careful to read all of the signs and believe what they say.

BART is also a good way to go - take the Powell street exit.

Cost: This is a FREE Meetup event, however, there is a fee of about $25.00 to attend and there are plenty of thing to buy.

Meetup Location: The place where they sell admission tickets - I will be arriving at 10 am.

This should be a lot of fun with a lot of unique things to photograph.

If you are planning to attend, please enter a Yes RSVP but, only do this if you are really serious about attending.  Thanks for your courtesy.

A lot of fun seeing many of the stars from the TV series. Interesting talks with a lot stories.
All of the actors were available to meet and talk with - Brent Spiner (Data) was incredibly funny.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
