This workshop will cover some basic lighting techniques for group members that are not yet familiar with the use of studio and/or smaller flash units. The class is purposely being keep small; so, each attendee will get some hands on and time with a photographer.
First, there will be an short introduction and lighting discussion with a literature handout. Later we'll have an equipment briefing and then take a short break where some refreshments will be available. We'll then round it up with some hands on lighting and the photo shoot.
This is the workshop almost every new member has requested; so, I'm expecting it to fill rather fast. Don't wait to join in, as ever other Meetup has filled quickly.
The only equipment you'll need for this event is a working camera that can be set to manual and has a hot shoe. If you already have your own pocket wizard please bring it if not you can use the studios . If you don't own a camera please contact me off site. Please bring your manual.
