Bio

Liron Shapira is the co-founder and CTO of Quixey, The Search Engine for Apps. Liron invented Quixey's Functional Search™, which supports natural-language queries and matches apps on all platforms. He is an advisor to the Center for Applied Rationality and the Machine Intelligence Research Institute. He has a BA in Computer Science with high honors from UC Berkeley.

Natural Language Search is basic tool to make sure queries entered at a public-facing website return meaningful answers. The meaning-text theory, gives a totally new approach to the problem, with very interesting results, proven in many industries.

I founded INBENTA in 2005, intented to help companies communicate better with customers and employees through the Web using a number of radically innovative technologies. Since its foundation, INBENTA has grown at yearly 100% growth, thus doubling revenue every year.
