Toddlers/preschoolers need to keep their fingers busy! We'll make the counting page and discuss different ways to put it together.

There will be other dates to continue making more pages.

* heavy fabric (like duck or denin) or pellon/felt to make the pages. Any size you want - but I suggest 12"x 11" inches. Allow for extra 1" for binding pages together on the left side. Allow for 1/2 inch of sewing/binding around all four sides.

*scrap fabric pieces

*scrap felt

* Felt glue or Wonder Under

* fabric paint for numbers (I have stencils)

* small buttons -any colors (45)

* needle & thread  - I'll also have my machine but a few more would appreciated.

Sharon, I just had an idea for the "10" page. Maybe write 1-10 on each of the fingertips of the hands...to reinforce the lesson!

If you don't have a child in your life... why not make one for a foster home? I have connections with foster home social workers!

Agh! The sharpie bleeds on fabric. Please bring fabric paint instead. I have stencils for the numbers.

Are these books to donate to some charity or to make for our own personal use for our children or as gifts?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
