Fast-track fitting partners

'm planning to enroll in Craftsy's Fast-Track Fitting class and am looking for a sewcialist, or a few, who'd be interested in learning these techniques together!

Here's a link for the class:

My goal is to develop a set of fitted slopers, and since fitting is always easier with others, I'm looking for a few partners in crime. I suggest we watch the course individually and then use our time together to tackle the fittings! It seems likely that we'll need more than one session to do a complete fitting. This meet up, at my apartment in San Francisco, is the first of what may be two or three sessions.

Given the location and nature of the project, I'd like to limit this meet up to six or fewer participants.

    Hello All,

I will be selling tons of Fabric and kitting yarn this weekend at 5616 Central Ave in El Cerrito if anyone is looking for some fabric to work with. I also have a roll of 36" marking Paper to do pattern making with. I'm down sizing and it all has to go. You can contact at me at [masked] if you have any question. Have a great day,

Sewcialists! I'm so sorry, but will need to postpone tomorrow's event. I've had some personal circumstances come up that will make it difficult for me to host the event this week. However, I absolutely plan to reorganize for the future. If there is a day or time that works better (or not at all) for you, please do let me know. I can try to accommodate this. Again, my apologies for the late cancelation. I'm so pleased to know there is interest in this event! We will get it rescheduled very soon.

Bummer! This might be for the best though, I could use some more time to finish watching the class. Def keep us posted when you decide to reschedule!

I just changed my RSVP to NO because I am so not ready, then I saw it was postponed. I will not be able to do this for a little while so if a second group forms that could work out well for me.

I just saw that this is being rescheduled, but RSVP'd anyway since I'd like to join everyone when this does happen. Happy sewing in the meantime!

Has everyone started the class? I really want to do this, but I haven't started it yet, and I'm worried I won't have time to get it all done by next week.

This sounds great! I've been sewing-obsessed for the past couple years and while I'm getting better, getting the right fit has always been a struggle and I've been wanting to make slopers for myself for a while. Would love to meet other sewers in the area too! I have a burdastyle acct if you want to look, my username is jesster348, but I haven't added any new projects in months...

Yes, this would be great! I'm already enrolled in the class. However, I'm moving 4 days later so I'm not sure this particular date works for me. I've RSVP'ed, however, because I would really like to work with someone or someones on this. I will also try to make this date work, despite the moving. :-)
