Dunedin Wine & Blues Festival

Dunedin Wine and Blues Festival

This signature event for Dunedin is an upscale event combining top notch blues music from all over the country with wine from all over the world. You can taste wine from more than two dozen vineyards spanning many varietals. Music is performed on the main stage at Pioneer Park starting at 5:00pm and running continuously until 11:00pm. This event draws a more mature audience, not many kids.

The Festival will be held on Main Street in Downtown Dunedin. The street is closed down to all but foot traffic from Alternate 19 to Loudon Ave. There is ample parking, both street and lot parking, surrounding the closed-off area.

I have personally been to this event before and it is a lot of fun!  The best news of all is that there is FREE admission to the event! You of course have to pay for any food or alcohol yourself once you're in the event.

For more information, visit their website:  http://www.dunedinwinestheblues.info/

We will meet at Pioneer Park. It’s right downtown where the band will be playing. You will find me at the Northwest corner of the park, I’ll have Meetup signs out. I will be there at 5, 6, and 7pm and will wait 15min. My cell#[masked]-3483.

Great festival! I'm not sure if I met some people from this group or the Tampa Bay Adventures group...I think they may have been combined? Either way it was fun!

Hello! My sense of orientation is in the low side (I get lost in my condo) so most likely it will an adventure to get to Pioneer Park. Just to be sure and confirm the address is 420 Main St, Dunedin, FL 34698. I am planning to be there at 6:00 pm. John, may I give you my cell in case I get lost? Or even better if anybody would message me theirs.....pleeeeaseee ;) Thanks everybody, looking forward to meet you guys

Lucia, 2 days before the event I will send out detailed directions of where to park and meet in addition to my cell number for you to call me. I like to make sure everyone is comfortable with finding the group.

I will be at Pioneer Park early and look for the group...but at 6:00ish I will be going to Dunedin Brewery to hear 2 of my favorite bands...Victor Wainwright & Wild Roots (Memphis, TN) and Biscuit Miller & the Mix (Chicago, IL). Also playing is Joey Gilmore (Miami, FL) but I am not familiar with him. Each band will perform a set, followed by an all-star jam. Great bands if you want to join me!

I was unable to make the festival last week-end, so really determined to come to this event. I was thinking of making it special and staying in Dunedin for the evening. Does anyone have any suggestions of places close to the event to stay the night?

Moved to Treasure Island from Dunedin 3+ years ago; this event is the right return for me, a Blues lover.

Can anyone tell me where the group is gathering? Assuming we are gathering???

      October 25, 2013

    • John

I'll announce it as the event gets closer but probably Pioneer park will be easiest to find.

i am disabled, is there seating available for this event?

    October 11, 2013

    • John

Hi Ilene, I went to this event a few years ago and they block off the streets and you pretty much walk around but can sit at some of the local bars/restaurant or there might be some seating in the park where the band is but I don't think you will see a lot of seating. Sorry!

      October 11, 2013

    • Ilene

      thanks for the info, John.
