Dinner at Anise Global Gastrobar in the SkyPoint building

Anise Global Gastrobar opened this past March 2013 to rave reviews. Its focus is Korean-ish, with a southeast Asian palette with global flavors that are fairly hard to pin down.

With many of the share-friendly plates under $10, from crispy red curry coconut wings with a cucumber mint yogurt dipping sauce to pork belly buns with kimchee, the menu is largely in support of the short-but-smart list of house cocktails overseen by mastermind mixologist Ro Patel (Ciro's).

*Feel free to bring a friend to enjoy this dinning experience.

I ate here with some friends before we went to show at the Straz in November. Food was good but service was somewhat slow - they seemed understaffeed that evening. Looking forward to visiting them again now that I'm not in a hurry to get to the Straz!
