The Ream Wilson Bike Trail is a twisty shaded and believe it or not, hilly (for Florida) trail that is ideal for a leisurely afternoon cruise adventure. Along the way we’ll pass under tall Spanish moss covered oaks and a long palm tree studded shoreline. There is lots of shade on the ride. Bring a camera as you'll want to take pictures. Below in Red is the bike trail we will be riding.
I can’t emphasize enough how cool this trail is. It has so much character and so many fun possibilities. This leisurely bike ride will be about 12-14 miles round trip and we can even stop half way at a near by pub for some food and/or beverage or just complete the ride and stop at a downtown Safety Harbor Restaurant for a light lunch and drinks. We can discuss this once we meet for the ride.
Where we will meet: We will meet at Philippe Park (see photo's below) 2525 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor. When you enter the park stay to your left and go to the back parking lot. If you can't find it, please call me at[masked]-3483.
Below photo is view of Philippe Park entrance: Once you enter the park, take the first right turn you can legally make and there will be parking right there. Look for me by my 4 door, white Acura ILX. I will also have Meetup signs on my car.
The park is about 2 miles North of Safety Harbor on Philippe Pkwy.
