Skied as a kid, picked up snowboarding later and have been riding for about 10 years. I'll ski with whoever, boarder or skier, is looking to ride off-piste in deep powder. Mixed groups are the most fun.
I have a 2-door Acura Integra, I can realistically fit one other passenger with ski gear and bags. I can maybe fit another in the back seat if everyone packs light, especially if it's a day trip and we're only packing skis.
Still exploring that area, but I like Kirkwood the best so far. Alpine Meadows is great too. Squaw suits my style of snowboarding but its so ridiculously expensive.
YES!! Mammoth Mountain in CA was a lot of fun. I'm also interested in exploring out of state, in the Rockies and even up in Canada. I'm game for anywhere where there's good skiing with deep snow and wide open spaces above the tree line.
Kirkwood, Alpine Meadows, Squaw
I moved to San Francisco a few months ago after living in Europe near the Alps, where I became addicted to snowboarding. I'm interested in meeting people who are also passionate about snowboarding/skiing, plus I think it's more fun to ski in a pack.
