Easter Sunday AM Foster City paddle

How about a few miles on a mild Sunday morning? Be ready to launch at the boat launch behind the dog park by 8:30 AM. Foster City canals offer lots of great options. Depending upon strength of paddlers, we can do either blue (6 miles r.t.) or yellow (4 miles r.t.) route.

There are weather forecasts of showers and possibly thundershowers, but weather forecasts are notoriously inaccurate. So we can play that by ear. If not bad storms, we're a go. Please stay tuned early Sunday AM for definite final word.

You'll have to download it from Youtube. Can't help you there. Too big to email and it's already up on YT anyway. There are free programs that will do that.

Yes I will participate because I live in foster city, just across from the dog park. All those boats that you see are mine, plus 4 or 5 others (that you dont see.) Anyone is welcome to use my boats on this sun, and I will provide paddles. How can you refuse
So leave your cell phone,Ipad and other gadgets in your car and enjoy what is free. Forget your obligations and join us
I do expect angela/steve to show. we can plan the NAPA trip
That will be a NO-MISS adventure! See yuh Sun!

Unless something changes by 8 AM, I say we should go. Sky is clear now, though you can see clouds to the west. It's worth a shot.

What rain? Almost noon and no rain! Pretty morning; good company.
Stanley & Adam, you guys got lost somewhere. Hard to do in a closed system! LOL

Steve and I will be there. We'll have Preston with us, so we're a maybe until we actually see the wind firsthand. :)

weather looks kind of iffy, but lets wait until almost last minute.
I have several boats that are avaIabgle to anyone who doesnt have their own (all canoes) The route eastward, although not as scenic, and no commercial areas does offer 3 separate park beach areas to stop off at. They have rest areas and picnic tables
Going west affords the boardwalk area with comm'l businesses and edgewater shopping center with restaurants, etc

My girlfriend and I would love to go if someone has room in their kayak or canoe. I am an intermediate paddler and she is a beginner. Sounds like a lot of fun!

OK sounds like we're starting to collect a group. Not sure about weather, but unless really storming, no reason not to go out.

You "expect" us! LOL. I have to ask my husband first. LOL. Warms my heart to know that you're excited to see us. I hope we can make it. As for the Napa trip, I don't know if I'm ready to do any moving waters with Preston, but I'd love to hear more about the river before I decide.

By the way, 8:30 is a great time for us.

Sounds like fun! I'm going to ask my hubby if he's up for it. If he says, yes, I'll RSVP. These days we're in search of places without wind so that one of us can keep a close eye on Preston: he's walking/running now and is a handful in the canoe.
