Made it all the way out to the towers! Nice and peaceful. Lots of wildlife on the way back, including seals.

We had a great paddle! I forgot to turn my gps on at the start, but I managed to record the return half:

We had a good paddle, and made it all the way to where the slough ends and meets coyote creek! We viewed lots of birds and ducks. We even saw a couple of young seals! A bit of a late start made for some against-the-flow paddling before we turned around, but the winds and the water were calm the whole way. Lots of sun. I was glad to have a hat! A bit over 8 miles paddling round trip.

Yes, unless you can find another group member that want's to go and can share their canoe. Kayaks are also an option if you have one of those, and don't mind a casual pace.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
