Before bringing an app to market, entrepreneurs and companies must often clear a number of legal hurdles.  These include defining end user agreements, privacy policies, copyright laws, and virtual currency regulation. This meetup will guide you through the legal challenges developers typically face and practical advice on how to tackle them.

You've heard of CloneGate right?

Unless you've been under a rock you've probably seen the shit flinging between game developers accusing each other of varying degrees of plagiarism. Given the timing of everything we feel this is perfect opportunity to broach the issue at our Meetup. In addition to navigating the legal maze for developers our speakers will discuss what the law considers copyright infringement, how to keep from getting sued, and review some cases that have actually made it to trial. Unless you want to find yourself as the next cover story for CloneGate you should probably take an hour and educate yourself on some do's and don't's.

Love to attend and thanks to let me join in. Trying to learn more about the gaming industry as i'm trying to build an internet gaming company. I honestly want to say I want to kill Zynga with my online games. It does take funding to do such feats.
