Bay Area TYPO3 Meetup

The inaugural meeting of the Bay Area TYPO3 Users Group will take place on February 4th from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Hacker Dojo. We have some very special guests and great presentations planned. We are fortunate to have Three TYPO3 luminaries joining us from Frankfurt Germany. Tolleiv Nietsch from AOE Media will give a developers perspective on developing the WebEx global web presence. Olivier Dobberkau and Ingo Renner from DKD will share some of the work they have been doing on integrating the Apache Solr enterprise search server with TYPO3.
Our tentative schedule is:
7:00 - Greetings and Introductions
7:15 - TYPO3 in the USA - Project overview, structure and opportunities
7:30 - Getting started in TYPO3 - An overview of TYPO3 4.3
7:45 - Enterprise customization - Backend and localization workflow customization for WebEx
8:15 - Apache Solr for TYPO3 - Enterprise search on TYPO3
8:45 - Wrap-up
We are looking forward to meeting new people and sharing information on a truly unique and exciting open source project.
