I'm using Unity mainly because i'm a Mac sound guy and was tasked with developing curriculum for a Sound For Games class. however along the way i've been drawn to the possibilities of game audio and attracted by what Unity is capable of, as well as appreciating the thought that went into designing it. i think it's one of the best out there in terms of good community support and thorough documentation, even though sophisticated audio implementation isn't really available at the moment except through third party add-ons like Fabric. also recently started testing the uScript add-on which is definitely intriguing to me as a means of teaching scripting to my kids. i am also interested in seeing what Unity-based developers out there need sounds and music for their indie budget games. not looking for fulltime work - just part-time contracts. my professional sound /music website is up at http://www.scottrlooney/metaphysical/
