Putting Lean UX into Practice: A Panel Discussing Where User Research Fits
As UX research practitioners and designers we hear much these days about “Lean” and Agile UX methods applied to user experience research.
But what is Lean UX and how do we implement it effectively? When it comes to Lean UX, one size does not fit all. Across startups and Fortune 500 companies, from the client side to design agencies, there are many interpretations of Lean or Agile UX practices.
February's Chapter Meeting Host; AnswerLab has organized a panel to share these varied UX perspectives framed around the following questions:
•What do we mean when we say Agile/Lean?
•Where does user research fit within these models?
•What are the practical applications and methodologies for researchers in Lean UX?
The panel will begin with brief introductions from local practitioners sharing their Lean UX experiences. Using these initial presentations as a jumping off point, we’ll spend the remaining time answering
questions, sharing strategies and learning from each other.
- Rob Aseron, Director of User Experience Research at Zynga
- Wade Lagrone, CEO & Co-Founder of Rabbl
- Tim Roberts, VP, Interactive at Fitbit
- Sasha Lubomirsky, User Experience Researcher at Airbnb
The panel will be moderated by Beth Lingard, AnswerLab Senior UX Researcher
