Brooklyn Book Fair and Brunch

Book lovers, let's browse among books and mingle! The Organizer of "The Everything Brooklyn Group!" (our very own Diana) schedules a meetup for the annual book fair at Brooklyn Borough Hall plaza. This year, we're cross-posting the event and combining it with brunch beforehand at a nearby cafe, Le Pain Quotidien.

For those of you who prefer to join us for the book fair event only, meet the group at the cafe before we head up to the plaza.  The fair itself is huge and finding each other won't be easy.  We expect to be done eating by 2:30 or so.  I'll post my cell number the morning of the event for anyone who runs late.

The links for both the book fair and the cafe are below:

We hope you'll join us!  Pray for great weather (ok, I'll take decent weather).

Perfect day for an open plaza event. The brunch was fun and interesting, especially having combined 2 groups and guests. I even picked up some early holiday gifts for my sons -- terrific books which the author signed for me! I couldn't have asked for a better time.

We're at the front large table, as soon as you walk in to the right.

Hi Susan, Sounds like it will be alot of fun, unfortunately I will be on vacation and cannot attend. Maybe next year.

I may meet up with you at the fair but I won't be able to attend the brunch as I have dinner plans early in the evening.

I saw your comments in Diana's posting, Janice. No worries. You have both of our cells. If we find each other, great.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
