Bay Area Arduino's mission is to foster innovation around the Arduino platform.
Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software.
We welcome software developers, inventors, electronic enthusiasts, artists, designers, hobbyists, DIYers and curious minds who want to learn how make their own hardware and write code for it to interact and interface with the physical world.
We will have parties approximately monthly to meet, talk, experiment, do show-and-tell, and learn from each other. Volunteers are welcome to take on a relevant topic and present a talk. My garage has some tools, parts, books and some rudimentary test equipment to help you along with your projects.
This is a "pot and parts" luck - bring along food and surplus that others can use in their projects. A donation jar will help pay for the $19/month that Meetup charges, and will also help keep us stocked with parts and consumables. Although I have one beater Windows computer that people can use, you bring along a computer that you can use to program your microcontrollers.
Let me know if you would also like to host - I will add you as an organizer.
