Celebrate St Patrick's Day with a chill-paced bike tour of the South Bay's best Irish pubs. Enjoy live music, green beer, and Irish fare at four different pubs: O'Flaherty's, Rosie McCann's, Katie Blooms, and C.B. Hannegan's. The route will include Santana Row, the Forbidden Bike Bridge, and most of the Los Gatos Creek Trail.
The ride will start in downtown San Jose and head to Los Gatos, with each pub roughly 5 miles apart. We'll stop for beer/food at each one. Those not interested in or not legally allowed to enter the pubs can party stop at a nearby park/plaza, which will be designated as we arrive to each pub.
Bring a cable lock if you've got one - we'll probably have to use the lock-all-the-bikes-together-in-a-big-stack locking method, since Irish pubs, like most places of business, provide ample car parking but little or no bike parking for customers.
Pace = No Rider Left Behind.
