Route: This is great loop on wine country roads from Windsor past Healdsburg up to Geyserville and back.  This is for road bikes.

Distance: 50 miles.

Climb: 2600 feet total gain

Start: Esposti Park, 6000 Redwood Hwy, Windsor CA.

Meet at 10:15 am sharp at Esposti Park, roll soon afterwards.  Allow 1 hr 15 min driving time from the GG Bridge.  Rain cancels.

Pace will be generally moderate (14-16 mph on flats).  Not recommended for beginners.  Note: While there are wineries along the way, the first rest stop with food is at 35 miles.

This IS NOT a guaranteed no-drop ride.  You should be a self-sufficient rider and able to navigate by yourself if you get separated.  I will supply cue sheets.

I am so disappointed but a family issue has come up and I need to take care of it. I could do this ride tomorrow if anyone wants to do it again!

is this a good ride for slight beginners?

    March 21, 2013

    • David

Not sure what you mean by "slight beginner". What your typical distance ride and what's your typical average speed?

Sounds like a great ride, but too bad I can't make it this time. Next time, I hope.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
