Mt. Tam loop

http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/43094634/

 58.5 miles

3245 approx ft elevation gain.

This is a loop starting in Corte Madera heading through Mt Tam State Park then returning back through Samuel P Taylor State Park then Faifax, San Rafael.  I have only ridden in this area a few times so have limited knowledge of the route.

Road bikes are most appropriate for this ride.

Pace will generally be moderate to brisk pace (16-20 mph on flats/grades). Typically we’ll spread out a bit and regroup for up to a few minutes as needed but this IS NOT guaranteed no-drop ride.

Not recommended for beginners.  You should be a self-sufficient rider, able to fix a flat on your own, comfortable riding in traffic, and able to navigate by yourself if you get separated from the group.

Helmets required.
