Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Cycling (Mountain & Road)!

What: Mt. Bike Ride - Soquel Demo Forest - Santa Cruz

When: October 19,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: this is not a begginers ride!
This ride is intended for mountain bike riders with a good level of physical fitness and excellent endurance with dirt single track riding experience; competent at climbing and descending steep and rough trails. The pace is moderate, we will regroup at intersections; total ride is about 20 miles.
the ride: up buzzard lagoon, down sawpit, up tractor, down braille, and back up to the parking lot. best Mt. bike ride in the area.
it is recommended to pack some energy bars and a sufficient amount of water as you won't find any place to refill on the trails.
who is in?

From CA 17 at the border between Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties, exit Summit Road. Drive south on Summit Road about 4 miles, at which point Soquel-San Jose Road departs to the right, and Summit turns into Highland Way. Continue straight on Highland Way (there's no stop sign heading south or north). At the junction with Mount Bache, about 1 mile further south, turn right and then quickly left at Spanish Ranch Road to remain on Highland. Continue on Highland about another 4.3 miles, then park on the right side of the road near the signed entrance.
we'll meet at the bridge
